ANNOUNCEMENTS & DATES TO NOTE

SOCIAL EVES ON THE SECOND SABBATH OF EACH MONTH:

            Following the service a week from today, February 13^th, 2010, we’ll have a Pizza Meal followed by an evening of bowling at Bowlerama in the Bayfield Mall from 6:30 PM to 9 PM.  We have reserved two 5 pin lanes and two 10 pin lanes.  The cost is $15 per person including bowling & shoes.  Guests are welcome!

            Following the service on March 13^th, a Pot Luck meal followed by a “Spring Fling” talent show.  Start now to prepare your act, music, skit, jokes or?? and please let Michael Pallotta know what you are going to do ASAP.

FEAST OF TABERNACLES:

            Our 2010 Feast of Tabernacles will be held in the Mariposa East Room of the Best Western Mariposa Inn, 400 Memorial Ave., Orillia.  The room rate is $99.95 plus tax.  We have reserved a block of 8 rooms.  To ensure you have a room call 1-800-461-0283 or 705-325-9511.  Be sure to mention the Church by name.

SABBATH SERVICE:

            Sabbath Services are held in the Collingwood room at the Days Inn, 60 Bryne Drive, Barrie, at 2:30 PM.

BIBLE STUDY:

                        Bible Study is held at 6:00 PM each Wednesday at the home of John and Ann Barichello, 77 Hodgson Drive, Barrie.

CHURCH LIBRARY:

            The Church Library articles, books, CDs and DVDs are available for all to use.  Should you want to borrow a Book, CD or DVD, see Pat Thomson.  A list of items available is on the information table.

CARD PROGRAM:

            Contact Margaret Demers or Marian Stockdale if you would like the Church to send someone a card.

TAPE PROGRAM:

            Please save Sobeys’ and Zehrs’ tapes and give them to Pat Thomson or mail them to the Church.

INVENTORY:

            Please advise Pat Thomson when you purchase, acquire or use up church supplies.

OFFERINGS:

            Please make cheques payable to “Maranatha Church of God” and give or send them to John Barichello.
